We’ve changed the way you secure a stall for our Friday in the Park event! This year, all bookings must be completed through our new online system. Make sure to follow the updated process to lock in your spot.
There are four deadly types of stalls to choose from:
1. Food Vendor Stall 🍴
Cairns NAIDOC is calling on local food vendors to serve affordable, community-friendly meals that reflect the vibrant flavours of our region.
Important:
2. Community Stall 🖤💛❤️
We’re here to uplift Blak excellence.
Community stalls are for mob-owned small businesses, grassroots innovators, and community changemakers.
Showcase your creations, build connections, and be part of the movement.
3. Pre-Set Stall 🎪
Don’t have a marquee? No stress.
We’ve partnered with Underwood Party Hire to offer pre-set marquees in 6x6m, 6x3m, and 3x3m sizes.
Limited larger spaces available — perfect for a polished, professional setup.
4. Self-Provider Stall 🛖
Bringing your own branded marquee? Deadly.
Self-providers must supply their own 6x3m or 3x3m setup — all structures must be safely secured and meet outdoor event standards.

Once you’ve paid, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your booking details, bump-in instructions, what you need to bring on the day.
Cairns NAIDOC is seeking local food vendors to cater at our 2025 Friday in the Park celebration, offering affordable, community-friendly meals that reflect the vibrancy and diversity of our region. All vendors must comply with Cairns Regional Council food regulations and provide current Food Handling Certificates as part of their application. Due to limited space and power access, all EOIs will be reviewed by the Cairns NAIDOC Committee to ensure a fair and community-aligned selection process.
Cairns NAIDOC welcomes mob-owned small businesses, grassroots innovators, and community changemakers to apply for a Community Stall at our 2025 Friday in the Park celebration. These stalls are designed to support Blak enterprise, celebrate culture, and showcase the deadly work our people are doing across community. It’s a chance for mob to promote their creations, connect with community, and be part of a movement honouring The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.
Cairns NAIDOC offers pre-set marquees through our event partner, Underwood Party Hire, for community groups and organisations participating in the 2025 Friday in the Park celebration. The Cairns NAIDOC Committee is made up of 100% volunteers — mob and community who give their time, knowledge, and heart without pay, because standing for culture is non-negotiable.
We proudly secure government funding, corporate sponsorships, and generate ticket sales to cover the costs of delivering NAIDOC events.
But the Committee itself remains fully volunteer-run.
Every meeting, every late-night email, every big decision — it’s all carried by the hands of people committed to seeing our culture thrive.
